Sitting With Discomfort

Feeling achy, hazy, rainy, gray, unmotivated, pulled, wanting, unclear, disconnected, overwhelmed.  And really really tired. 

Something is crying for my attention.  I think I'll turn off this computer now & just sit with what's here.  Breathe it in deeply, allow it to move through me, let go of the judgment...open to it all.

  1. "Just sitting" is my favourite way to deal. It allows me to connect with the fuzzy, generalized anxiety and ask it questions. I love the aha moment that inevitably comes when I give my internal cast of characters the space and time to tell me what's going on with them. <3 Enjoy your silence and your solitude!   3. i think sometimes the best thing we can do when we are feeling all of this is simply to "just sit"....let yourself "be with it".

    clarity seems to come in the quietness.

  6. Hi Julia, I wrote a post yesterday about feeling better in the middle of the bleak. I left off that very important one: do nothing. Sometimes, that is best. Also, I'm sending you virtual flowers. Daffodils. To have next to you while you sit.
