Be That Person

Photo found here

Please
be that person
who says it anyway
who begins despite the trembling
who, despite every grumbling protest
stays
where you are

Please, be that person
who sings with the crickets
who breathes breaths of gratitude
who knows, who Knows
there is no thing
but love.

Please, don't stop
when you feel beaten
tired
hopelessly lost, beyond repair
wild with ache

Please know
that I will be here
to catch you
to carry you across the threshold
to whisper yes
yes
yes

Please, be that person.

  3. Wow... Julia. This is really very incredible.
I'm having a very unsteady time right now, September isn't really my month. This... this lovely thought is warming me inside.
-- hOpelessly lost, beyond repair -- that is the place I sometimes use all of my power to avoid. This is so very lovely.
    Thank you for you.
